BANCHORY ROAD SE3 MEWS HOUSES
TWO, NEW BUILD, MEWS HOUSES, 51A BANCHORY ROAD, LONDON SE3 7NJ
This is a modest pair of houses whose design and materials generally aim at creating a smart development for 2 professional families.Through the composition of the frontage being relatively traditional the proposal is polite and not overtly making any statement- in the hope that the development will become part of the neighbourhood.
'Bridge in The Sky', Social Housing, Russian Housing Development Institution DOM. RF.
The proposal is to build a linear block of flats that will act as a socially integrated terrace, raised into the sky and situated within a “bridge”.
Langton Way, Greenwich
The site is located along a private road that has many modern homes predominantly owned by professional couples. This courtyard estate is comprised of two semi-detached older people’s houses which flank a terrace of six family houses. The brief was to build the estate so as to fulfill a Housing Association’s requirements, in terms of access, minimum room areas, parking and garden spaces.
Gillian Street, Greenwich
The development of this terrace of Housing Association houses is comprised of two bedroom, three bedroom and single bedroom houses.
'Tumbling Dice', Marsh Street, Dartford, Kent
The site is a rectangular site adjacent to Joyce Green Cemetery that extends beyond Marsh Street northwards until it reaches Bob Dunne Way. It is presently accessible via a pathway. The proposal is to widen this path along the length of the site to allow for vehicular access and parking and create a country lane.
St Margarets Passage, London SE13
The location of this proposed new semi-detached house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac lined with Georgian and Victorian terraced houses. Here there are good examples of the type of traditional terraced houses that are predominant feature of the Blackheath Conservation area and in particular Character Area 13 (Quentin Road, Belmont Park, Dacre Park and Eton Grove) as defined in the most recent conservation area appraisal.

The proposal is for the client to develop the garden of her property to provide a suitable property that she can downsize to, that will meet her needs when she retires and as she grows older.
